The Relationship between Social Support and Career Choice Anxiety among Vocational College Graduates:The Mediating Role of Psychological Resilience
To explore the impact of social support on career choice anxiety among vocational college graduates and the mediating role of psychological resilience in this relationship,this study utilized the Social Support Rating Scale,Self-Resilience Scale,and a Career Choice Anxiety Questionnaire for College Graduates.A survey was conducted with 205 vocational college graduates.The results show:1.Social support is significantly positively correlated with psychological resilience and negatively correlated with career choice anxiety;2.Both social support and psychological resilience can significantly negatively predict the level of career choice anxiety;3.Social support can predict the level of career choice anxiety through psychological resilience,wherein psychological resilience plays a full mediating role between social support and career choice anxiety.Therefore,enhancing levels of social support and psychological resilience has a positive effect on alleviating career choice anxiety among vocational college graduates.
