Exploration and Practice of Question-Project Method in the Course of Geographic Information System Principles
Reforming the teaching methods of university courses is an important measure to improve students'ability to master course knowledge.Currently,in response to the difficulties in understanding and poor experimental operation of the Principles of Geographic Information Systems course for students majoring in Humanities Geography and Urban Rural Planning, the problem-based teaching method and project-based teaching method are used as the starting points, combining the advantages of the two methods.Question-project method is proposed to achieve a three-step learning method of"theoretical clarity, problem proposal, and practical solution".The results indicated that the question-project method can further stimulate the participation of students majoring in humanities, geography, and urban and rural planning in the course, while improving their experimental hands-on ability in the course, especially with a deeper understanding of coordinate transformation of geographic spatial data.
