Teaching Innovation Research on Distance Education Based on Learning Situation of Adult Learners
In the new era of lifelong learning,more and more adult learners take part in online and distance learning.Focusing on their learning characteristics and researching how to construct suitable distance education model for this group is an urgent mission for distance educational organizations at present.The article starts with the definition of adult learners,and comprehensively analyzes their learning situation.Based on their utilitarian learning objectives,self-directed learning models,microlearning habits,complex learning environment and so on,some measures will be advised to distance educational organizations to adjust teaching ideas and innovating teaching strategies,such as logically designing majors and curricula,reasonably orienting teaching goals,innovating teaching methods,optimizing teaching content and updating teaching management philosophy,in order to effectively promote key competences of adult learners.
