Study on the Correlation Between Professional Identity and Mental Resilience of Nursing Students after the Epidemic
Objective To explore the correlation between professional identity and psychological resilience of undergraduate nursing students after the epidemic.Methods From November 2020 to December 2020,146 undergraduate nursing students were investigated and studied on the correlation between professional identity and psychological resilience.The general information of nursing students participating in the study was collected,and the survey results were statistically analyzed.According to the aforementioned data analysis results,the correlation analysis was conducted between the average score of various dimensions of professional identity and the total score of psychological resilience of nursing students.Results The total score of professional identity of nursing students was(61.66±11.25),and the total score of psychological resilience was(36.83±8.14).The professional identity of nursing students was significantly positively correlated with psychological resilience(P<0.05),and the total score of psychological resilience was significantly positively correlated with the professional self-concept dimension of professional identity,the retention benefit dimension and the turnover risk dimension,and the vocational autonomy selectivity dimension(P<0.05),while there was no correlation with social comparison,self-reflection dimension and social persuasion dimension(P>0.05).Conclusion There was no serious decline in nursing students'professional identity after the epidemic,which may be related to the psychological protective mechanism of psychological resilience.In the future,the research on the protective mechanism of psychological resilience of nursing students should be deepened,and specific training programs should be formulated for nursing students'professional identity from a psychological perspective,so as to provide reference for improving their professional identity.To maintain the stability of the nursing workforce in the future.
