A Study on the Path of Ascension of English Examination of Proficiency for Seafarers Based on Quality Requirements
English is an indispensable international language for seafarers.The main purpose of English Examination of Proficiency for Seafarers is to ensure that seafarers have the basic communication ability to complete the work tasks on board in a multilingual working environment,which plays an important role in the development of China's shipping industry,and quality is an effective guarantee to maintain its sustainable vitality.Starting with the examination data of the past three years,this paper analyzes the overall examination situation,the category-level examination situation and the examination situation of a single subject.On this basis,it points out the existing problems in the examination,and studies the ways to improve the examination quality from several aspects,such as the enhancement of English learning for seafarers,the upgrading and transformation of examination forms,the establishment and improvement of online examination safeguard mechanism,and the construction of examination materials and item banks.
