The internationalization development of"double first-class"universities is a crucial strategy in higher education,which has an important guiding value in enhancing the global competitiveness of China's higher education.From the perspective of"centre-periphery"structure,the study found that China's"double first-class"universities have shown an obvious"centre-periphery"pattern.Based on this,the article put forward suggestions to promote the internationalization of China's"double first-class"universities from the following aspects:building international images with regional features,actively seeking multinational"peripheral"cooperation,as well as establishing and perfecting the policy mechanism of opening-up.
