Objective To analyze the application effect and value of problem-based learning(PBL)in anatomy experiment teaching.Methods This study randomly selected 68 students who conducted anatomy experiments in our school from March 2022 to March 2023 as the subjects.The students were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group according to the method of drawing lots,with 34 students in each group.control group conducted regular anatomy experiment teaching,while the observation group conducted PBL teaching based on regular teaching methods.The assessment scores,critical thinking scores,and innovative ability scores of the students before and after the teaching were compared,and the satisfaction of the students with the teaching results was also compared.Results There were significant differences in the assessment scores,critical thinking scores,and innovative thinking ability scores between the two groups before the teaching(P>0.05).After teaching,the observation group had higher scores in these aspects than the control group,and the statistical analysis showed that the differences were significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the observation group with the teaching effect was higher than that of the control group,and the statistical analysis showed that the difference was significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of PBL teaching method in anatomy experiment teaching is important for improving students'abilities,and therefore has high promotional value
