Measurement Method of Dust Concentration in Blasting Area Based on Image Technology
Aiming at the issue of difficulty measurement of dust concentration in blasting area of open-pit mine,a measurement method of dust concentration in blasting area based on image technology was proposed. The dust images in blasting area and the dust concentration information of the typical measuring points were collected. The Gaussian filter noise reduction method was optimized and the gray level α was optimized as 128 to effectively identify the boundary between the dust area and the background area, andthe accuracy of the gray information extraction of the dust image was improved by using the image technologies such as the noise reduction, enhancement and segmentation of the dust image.Using the function fitting method, the function of dust concentration and gray value in blasting area was optimized and established as C=-0.01157G2+2.342G-104.1,which was applied to the measurement of dust concentration in the mine blasting area. The results show that the dust concentration in blasting area reaches the peak of 13.824 mg/m3 at 7th second and decreases to 3.749 mg/m3 at 90th second after blasting. At 6th second, the high concentration dust cloud in the left rear of blasting area is 3-52 m above the surface, and its influence area is 110 m×60 m.The high concentration dust cloud in the upper right of blasting area is more than 52 m above the surface, and its influence area is 59 m×56 m.At 90th second, the dust cloud is concentrated at a position above 40 m from the surface, and the influence range is 120 m × 67 m,which is consistent with the actual situation and verifies the effectiveness of the proposed measurement method of dust concentration.
