Research on Mechanical Properties of Similar Materials of Sandstone Based on Orthogonal Test
Sandstone similarity simulation test is widely used in mining,civil engineering and other fields.In order to determine the proportioning scheme of similar materials of sandstone,the orthogonal design method was used to set up a three-factor and three-level orthogonal test with the mass ratio of river sand to barite powder,gypsum to cement and cementing material to aggregate.Uniaxial compression tests and ring shear tests were conducted on specimens with different proportions,and their compressive strength,cohesion,and internal friction angle were measured.The variation law between each parameter and the three-factors of the orthogonal design was studied.Based on test data,it can be concluded that the stress-strain curves of similar materials of sandstone are basically the same as those of general rocks.The ratio of cementing materials to aggregates plays a dominant role in the uniaxial compressive strength,and the failure mode of the specimen is mainly tensile-shear composite failure.The ratio of cementing materials to aggregates plays a dominant role in cohesion and internal friction angle.Brittle fracture occurs after the failure of ring shear specimen,accompanied by gravel falling off.The research provides 9 kinds of similar material design proportions,and the appropriate similar materials can be selected according to the needs.
