Optimal Selection of Mining Methods and Optimization of Stope Structure Parameters in Xitieshan Lead-Zinc Mine
Due to the transition from open stoping mining to filling mining, there are some problems such as high safety hazards, low production capacity, and a large amount of mining and cutting work in the Xitieshan lead-zinc mine.Based on the on-site mining technology conditions, three technically feasible mining schemes were proposed, including sublevel drilling-stage open stoping with subsequent filling mining method, small segmented open stoping with subsequent filling mining method, and upward horizontal layered filling mining method.By comparing and analyzing the production capacity, impoverishment loss, mining to cutting ratio and other technical and economic conditions of each scheme, the suitable mining scheme was selected as the small segmented open stoping with subsequent filling mining method.Numerical simulation was used to optimize the structural parameters of the stope. It is determined that the width of the stope should not exceed 10 m,and the optimal segment height is 12 m.The actual application results of the mine have proved that compared to the original upward horizontal layered filling mining method, after optimizing the mining method and the structural parameters of the stope, the production capacity of the mine has increased by 108.7%,the dilution rate and loss rate have little change, the mining safety is improved, and better technical and economic indicators are obtained.
