Study on the Tendency of Rock Burst During Mining in a Deep Mine
To predict the possibility and intensity of rock burst during the mining process of a deep mine, based on the distribution characteristics of ground stress in the mining area and rock mechanics tests, empirical criteria for rock burst and numerical simulation analysis were used to analyze and study rock burst.Preliminary qualitative analysis was conducted using the Barton criterion and impact energy index in empirical criteria, and it is found that the rock burst tendency in the middle section above-1 300 m is extremely low.If it occurs, only slight rock bursts will occur locally. There is a risk of mild to moderate rock burst occurring in the middle section below-1 300 m.Using FLAC3D numerical simulation software, modeling and analysis were conducted based on local energy release rate indicators. It is found that during the first period of mining(-780 m to-1 020 m),the risk of rock burst is not high, with minor rock burst being the main type.During the second period of mining(-1 020 m to-1 754 m),the ore body has a moderate risk of rock burst, with the potential areas for rock burst occurring at the corners of the roof, intermediate columns, and floor of the mining area.According to the prediction results of rock burst grade, targeted measures for rock burst prevention and control are proposed, providing guidance for the next stage of construction and mining in the mine.
