Identification Method and Experimental Study on Structural Plane Consistency of Rock Mass Based on Digital Borehole Image
The structural plane is a geological interface with a certain scale. It is an important content in the study of rock mass structure to judge the spatial extension range of the structural plane.Through mathematical methods such as spatial geometry and vector analysis, the identification method of structural plane consistency in multiple boreholes was derived, and the possible connected structural planes were quickly screened out,and the structural plane consistency was further judged in combination with relevant features,a set of identification method of structural plane consistency based on digital borehole image was formed, and the indoor test was carried out to verify the identification method. The structural plane of specific parameters was preset in the test block, multiple groups of boreholes were set up and borehole photography tests were carried out to identify and extract the structural plane information in the borehole images, and structural plane consistency analysis was carried out.The test results show that the identification method of structural plane consistency can be applied to straight structural planes and structural planes with certain undulating angles and roughness. The inclination of borehole does not affect the judgment of structural plane consistency by borehole camera, and the structural plane in any two boreholes in space can be judged by this method. The analysis method can quickly complete the identification of structural planes consistency, which is suitable for the discrimination and screening of massive structural planes consistency in deep boreholes. The identification method of rock mass structural plane consistency is successfully applied to the slope survey project of Xichang Iron Mine, and the distribution and continuity information of internal structural plane and fracture zone of mine slope are obtained, which provides a reference for landslide disaster warning and slope reinforcement scheme.
