In this paper,the hierarchical control method is introduced to address the stabilization problem for a class of large-scale nonlinear systems.Unlike decentralized control,hierarchical control relies on a system that coordinates the local controls for each subsystem based on the information from all subsystems.We design a dynamic central coordination system driven by the outputs of all subsystems to generate a coordination signal.With the signal,the local observers are built for each subsystem.The local controllers for each subsystem are designed based on the coordination signal and the local observers.All the local controllers cooperate with each other via the coordination signal and stabilize the large-scale nonlinear systems.Finally,a simulation example is given to illustrate the obtained result.
