Preliminary Report on the Control Effect of Spinetoram+Methoxyfenozide 34%SC on Rice-stem Borer in Panjin
The control effect of Spinetoram+Methoxyfenozide 34%SC on rice-stem borer in paddy fields in Panjin and its safety to rice were studied. The results of field experiment showed that Spinetoram+Methoxyfenozide 34%SC was 24 g/667 m2 and 20 g/667 m2,which was applied for the first time at the peak period of egg hatching, that is,at the initial stage of every generation of rice-stem borer larvae, and applied twice at an interval of 7-10 days. The control effects on the first generation of rice-stem borer were 94.6%and 88.2%,and on the second generation of rice-stem borer were 86.4%and 84.7%,respectively.The control effects of Spinetoram 25%WG and 240 g/L Methoxyfenozide 240 g/L SC on the first generation of rice-stem borer were 97.8%and 78.5%,respectively,when the field dosage was 15 g/667 m2 and 28 g/667 m2 respectively; The control effects on the second generation rice-stem borer were 89.8%and 69.5%,respectively.Rice grew normally in the tested chemical treatment area.To sum up,Spinetoram+Methoxyfenozide 34%SC has ideal control effect on rice-stem borer and is safe for rice.
