Kenyan-1804 is a new japonica rice variety with early maturity,multi-resistance and high quality,which was bred by rice research institute of Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Reclamation in 2010 with Kendao-25 as female parent and Kendao-09-1588 as male parent.It is suitable for transplanting in the second accumulated temperature zone of Heilongjiang Province.The breeding process,characteristics and yield performance of Kenyan-1804 were introduced,and the supporting cultivation techniques for stable and high yield were put forward according to the production practice,which provided the basis for the popularization and planting of this variety.
