Aphelenchoides besseyi is one of the main pathogenic nematodes that harm rice.With the popularization of water-saving cultivation mode of rice in China,the change of variety layout and tillage system,the disease of this nematode is becoming more and more serious.This paper introduces the morphological characteristics of Aphelenchoides besseyi,and briefly analyzes the infection and harm process of Aphelenchoides besseyi and the field symptoms of Aphelenchoides besseyi;According to the research progress of Aphelenchoides besseyi,the control methods and related control problems in recent years were summarized,and the prospect was put forward,in order to provide reference for the related research of Aphelenchoides besseyi in the future.
