Research on the Correlation between Panicle Type Traits and Grain Traits of Instant Rice
This study used 247 japonica rice varieties as test materials to analyze the correlation between panicle type traits and grain traits.The results showed that the coefficient of variation for 8 traits ranged from 4.8%to 31.2%,and the average coefficient of variation for each trait in panicle and grain traits were 22.2%and 7.8%,respectively.Grain shape factor,grain weight factor,grain number factor,seed setting factor,and panicle length factor are the main factors affecting the comprehensive performance of panicle type and grain traits in japonica rice varieties.There is varying degrees of complex correlations between ear type traits and grain traits.Meanwhile,the upright panicle type,semi upright panicle type,and curved panicle type varieties of japonica rice have different panicle type and grain characteristics.
