Breeding and Cultivation Techniques of New Rice Variety Xinnonggengyi-4
Xinnonggengyi-4 is a conventional rice variety bred by the Institute of Nuclear Technology and Biotechnology of Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences with Ninggeng-43 as the female parent and Xindao-36 as the male parent.This variety was approved by the state in 2020,and is suitable for planting in the late-ripening rice area of Jilin Province,the northern part of Liaoning Province,the Yellow irrigation area of Ningxia Province,the Chifeng area of Inner Mongolia Province,the rice area along Tianshan Mountain in northern Xinjiang and the rice blast mild area in Southern Xinjiang,while the rice blast heavy area is not suitable for planting.The main points of machine planting techniques were summarized from sowing,seedling rearing,transplanting,field water and fertilizer management and disease,insect and grass damage control.
