陈廷焯继承了常州词派推尊词体的理论要旨,但又在三个方面丰富、发展、升华了这一理论主张.一是破体尊词,通过比附诗骚、以诗衡词的方式来观照词体,提升词体的地位和品格.这种观照涉及到词之起源、题材立意、语言、风格等方面.二是辨体言词,指出词在外在特征、体性特质、审美追求等方面的特殊之处在于沉郁婉曲,在辨体自尊一路上确认了词体独特的审美价值.三是沟通"比兴"和"沉郁".作为创作手法,比兴是实现沉郁的手段.作为审美特征,比兴和沉郁都是"言有尽而意无穷"的蕴含状态.比兴和沉郁互释,体现了陈廷焯对古典诗词审美本质的深刻认识.
Chen Tingzhuo's Theory of Breaking Down and Recognizing the Boundaries Between Literary Genres and the Theory of Chenyu
On the one hand,Chen Tingzhuo inherited and expounded the theoretical gist of Changzhou Ci school's theory of breaking down the boundaries between literary genres and respecting Ci.On the basis of the theory of"homology of poetry",he asked Ci to be closer to poetry in terms of subject matter,lan-guage,style and so on,and constructed a more harmonious theory of breaking down the boundaries be-tween literary genres and respecting Ci.On the other hand,Chen Tingzhuo attached importance to the discrimination of the inherent characteristics of Ci,pointed out the differences between Ci and poetry in ex-ternal characteristics,institutional characteristics,artistic pursuit and other aspects,and affirmed the in-dependent aesthetic value of Ci along the way.Chen Tingzhuo requires the creation of Ci to be deep and gentle,implicit and not revealed,and takes"the way of Chenyu and cadence"as the aesthetic pursuit,and"Chenyu"as the criticism standard of Ci is rooted in his discrimination of the body characteristics of ci.In addition,"Bixing"and"Chenyu"are inseparable from each other,and the investigation and definition of the specific meaning of"Bixing"and"Chenyu"indicates that Chen Tingzhuo's Ci theory has touched on the aesthetic essence of poetics.
