Research the Distribution and Commercialization of Tea in Canal Area Ming and Qing Dynastie
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the area along the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal was an important political,economic and cultural center in China.The large population,prosperous market and rich life stimulated the cultivation,trafficking and sales of tea,and tea became an indispensable neces-sity for the society in the canal area.The prevalence of tea drinking has stimulated the commercialization and marketization of tea.A large number of teahouses,tea sheds and tea nunneries have been set up in cit-ies and villages,and combined with belief culture,charity culture and folk culture,which has become an important part of canal culture.
