Rural teachers are the foundation for running a good rural education,and also an important source of promoting rural revitalization.The implementation of the rural revitalization strategy requires rural teachers to make a difference.Using the questionnaire survey method,taking 816 rural teachers in Shandong Province as the survey object,to explore the willingness and influencing factors of rural teachers to participate in rural revitalization.The research results show that most rural teachers are willing to par-ticipate in rural revitalization.The personal factors of rural teachers,organizational atmosphere,institu-tional guarantees,the environment in the rural area,and the family status of rural teachers affect their willingness to participate in rural revitalization.In order to enhance the willingness of rural teachers to participate in rural revitalization and turn their will into actions,it is necessary for local governments,edu-cation administrative departments,and schools to take various measures to establish a comprehensive sys-tem for enhancing the knowledge and skills of rural teachers participating in rural revitalization,actively create an organizational atmosphere for rural teachers to participate in rural revitalization,build a platform for rural teachers to participate in rural revitalization,establish flexible professional title evaluation and performance evaluation mechanisms,and effectively solve the worries of rural teachers.
