Nihilism refers to the questioning of concepts such as meaning,purpose,and value.As a manifestation of nihilism,cultural nihilism is a cultural movement that rejects native cultural values in fa-vor of complete Westernization.In the 1920s,Lenin engaged in heated debates with the"Proletarian Cul-tural faction,"critiquing the ideology of cultural nihilism.During his leadership of the Russian socialist revolution and its subsequent construction,Lenin proposed numerous valuable ideas for cultural develop-ment.By systematically combing through the development process of cultural nihilism during Lenin's era and drawing lessons from his effective strategies to counter this phenomenon,we can gain important in-sights.These insights are crucial for resisting the influence of cultural nihilism in the new era,safeguard-ing national ideological security,and fostering cultural confidence in socialism with Chinese characteris-tics.
