The Aixuan School,as an important academic school in the Southern Song Dynasty,had a great influence in the Putian area.Its members mainly included Lin Guangchao,Lin Yizhi,Chen Zao,Lin Xiyi,and others.At the same time,the Aixuan School was also an important literary school during the Qianchun period of the Southern Song Dynasty.There is a close internal connection between the prose creation of the scholar Ai Xuan and one of the"Spring and Autumn Three Biographies",Guliang Com-mentary.This is reflected in the emphasis placed on Guliang Commentary by the scholar Ai Xuan,as well as the inheritance of his ideas on cultural governance,military preparedness,and the importance of peo-ple's livelihood,as well as his artistic techniques such as simple language and question answering style writing,and his adherence to a simple and precise style of writing in Guliang Commentary.Clarifying the relationship between the Aixuan School and Guliang Commentary has important implications for further research on Guliang Commentary and Song Dynasty prose creation.
