Objective To use the method of tracer based spatial statistics, based on diffusion tensor imaging(DTI).TBSS was used to study the microstructure of white matter in patients with diabetic retinopathy(DR).Methods 24 pa-tients with diabetic retinopathy(DR Group)and 24 healthy controls(HC group)were prospectively collected and 3D-T,imaging and whole brain DTI scanning were performed.TBSS analysis method was used to compare the difference of white matter microstructure level between DR Group and healthy control group, and extract DTI index of different white matter fi-ber bundles.Partial correlation statistical method was used to analyze the correlation between DTI index of differential white matter fiber bundle, cognitive function scale score and clinical biochemical index. Results Compared with the healthy control group, the FA values in the knee of corpus callosum, corpus callosum body, bilateral anterior crown, bilateral superior crown, right posterior crown, right external capsule and right upper longitudinal bundle were decreased in DR Patients.Cor-relation analysis showed that the FA value in the knee of the corpus callosum of the DR Group was positively correlated with the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA)score(r=0.539,P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between the crown FA value at the upper left and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA)score(r=0.569,P<0.05).Conclusion DTI technique can observe the microstructural changes of multiple white matter regions in DR Patients, and the difference of white matter structure has a certain correlation with cognitive function.
