Study on Resting State Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Intervention of Sleep Disorder in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome by Prolong Life With Nine Turn Method(Yan Nian Jiu Zhuan)Qigong
Objective Based on the low frequency amplitude(ALFF)functional magnetic resonance technique,to ex-plore the mechanism of improving chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS)sleep disorders with the Yannian Jiuzhuan method. Methods Thirty CFS patients who voluntarily participated in the fMRI test were randomly assigned to the Nine Years Ex-tension Method Group and the Cognitive Behavior Group, and the PSQI scale measurement and resting functional magnetic resonance(fMRI)scan of the head were performed around 12 weeks. The scale score and the strength of ALFF neuron ac-tivity were analyzed. Results Compared with the cognitive behavior group, the right anterior cingulate gyrus and right su-perior frontal gyrus ALFF in the Gongfa group were enhanced;left middle occipital gyrus, right middle occipital gyrus, left middle temporal gyrus, right superior occipital gyrus ALFF activity weakened.Compared with before the test, the left caudate nucleus, left superior frontal gyrus, and left central anterior gyrus ALFF were enhanced in the Gongfa group;ALFF decreased in the right corner gyrus and the right top gyrus. Conclusion The Yannian Jiuzhuan method can effectively treat sleep disorders in CFS patients. The increased excitability of the left superior frontal gyrus and the left central anterior gyrus may be a possible mechanism for the Yannian Jiuzhuan method to improve sleep disorders in CFS patients.
