Objective To explore the CT imaging findings of adrenal cavernous hemangiomas(ACH).Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the CT data of 7 cases with ACH.The analysis imaging findings included the num-ber,location,shape,size,margin,attenuation and enhancement pattern. Results Among the 7 cases of ACH,six had single lesions(6/7)and one(1/7)had two lesions. All of the lesions were located in the left adrenal gland, presenting as round or oval with clear margin, ranging in maximum diameter from 0.9 to 4.8 cm[(2.47±1.21)cm].On unenhanced CT scans, the lesions showed iso-or slightly hypoattenuation features, with 4 cases(57.1%)showing calcification within lesions.Three cases exhibited diffusely distributed multiple punctate or granular calcifications within the lesion, and 1 case showed a few punctate and granular calcifications. On the contrast-enhanced CT,3(42.9%)showed early peripheral en-hancement during the arterial phase with filling toward the center during the venous phase;2 cases showed mild enhance-ment of the solid parts during both arterial and venous phases;one case could not be evaluated for enhancement pattern due to complete tumor calcification. One patient only underwent an unenhanced CT scan. Conclusion CT has certain value in the diagnosis of ACH,with diffusely distributed punctate or granular calcifications and early peripheral enhancement fol-lowed by gradual filling-in being characteristic manifestations.
