The production and application status of adhesive industry are presented in brief. Research progress and application of modified biomass adhesives, especially albumen adhesive and starch adhesive in recent years are described in detail. Meanwhile, authors of this paper point out the existing problems of biomass adhesive, and look into its development trend.
