Objective To investigate the status and influencing factors of professional identity of operating room nurses in Sichuan Province,and analyze the relationship between professional identity,self-efficacy and job burnout.Methods A total of 288 operating room nurses were investigated with professional identity rating scale,general self-efficacy scale and job burnout scale from May to October 2023 in hospitals at all levels in Sichuan Province.The status and influencing factors of professional identity of operating room nurses with differentdemographic characteristics were compared,and the relationship between the three was analyzed.Results The score of professional identity of 288 operating room nurses was(111.45±18.82),and different age,employment form,title and position were the influencing factors of professional identity(P<0.05).The self-efficacy score was(29.06±6.51);The score of job burnout was(58.04±14.93),which was at the moderate level of burnout.There was a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and professional identity(r=0.690,P<0.01).Job burnout was negatively correlated with job i-dentity(r=-0.291,P<0.01).Conclusion The professional identity of 288 operating room nurses in Sichuan Province was in the middle level;There is a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and occupational identity,and a negative correla-tion between job burnout and occupational identity.Managers can adopt different measures to improve the level of professional iden-tity of operating room nurses,increase the professional identity of operating room nurses,and achieve the purpose of stabilizing the nursing team and improving the quality of nursing.
