Analysis of Self-regulatory Fatigue Status and Influencing Factors in Parents of Children with Asthma
Objective To analyze the current situation and influencing factors of self-regulatory fatigue in parents of children with asthma.Methods From August 2022 to November 2023,279 parents of children with asthma were surveyed using the general situation questionnaire,Self-regulatory Fatigue Scale,Childhood Asthma Control Test,Medical Coping Modes Question-naire and Social Support Rating Scale.Results The self-regulatory fatigue score of parents of children with asthma was(45.10±8.55)points;The self-regulated fatigue score of parents of children with asthmatic was negatively correlated with C-ACT score,face score,all dimension score and total score of social support(P<0.05),and positively correlated with avoidance score and surrender score(P<0.05);Education level,number of children,C-ACT Scale Score,avoidance coping,and social support could predict the self-regulatory fatigue level of parents of children with asthma,with a total variance of 49.3%.Conclusion Medical staff should pay attention to the negative impact of self-regulatory fatigue on parents of children with asthma,focus on parents with low education,large number of children,and poor asthma control,and help parents of children with asthma reduce avoidance coping and increase their social support level to reduce their self-regulatory fatigue level,ultimately improve their mental health status,and promote the healthy growth of children.
