The impact of implementing MEWS grading guidance nursing in CCU on the rehabilitation process and adverse event control of elderly patients with severe heart failure
Objective To explore the impact of implementing improved MEWS grading guidance nursing in CCU on elderly patients with severe heart failure.Methods A total of 100 elderly patients with severe heart failure admitted to the CCU of our hos-pital from February 2019 to February 2022 were selected.According to the random number table method,a reference group and an experimental group of 50 cases each were set up.Provide routine CCU nursing intervention to the reference group patients,while the experimental group adopts MEWS grading guidance nursing on the basis of the reference group.Observe two groups of negative emo-tions,rehabilitation progress,incidence of complications and adverse events,and evaluate patient satisfaction with nursing care.Re-sults After intervention,the HAMA and HAMD scores of both groups were lower than before intervention,and the experimental group was lower than the reference group(P＜0.05);Compared with the reference group,the experimental group had longer me-chanical ventilation time during the rehabilitation process CCU hospitalization time and total hospitalization time are both shorter(P＜0.05);The total incidence of complications and adverse events in the experimental group was lower than that in the reference group(P＜0.05);The overall nursing satisfaction rate of the experimental group patients was higher than that of the reference group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The implementation of MEWS grading guidance in CCU nursing can promote the relief of negative emo-tions in elderly patients with severe heart failure,shorten the rehabilitation process,reduce complications and adverse events,and have a positive effect on improving patient nursing satisfaction.
