Trends in research on digital oral care in China:A comprehensive analysis using CiteSpace Ⅵ
Objective:To analyze the current status and key focal points in the field of digital oral care in China,of-fering essential insights for future clinical practices and scientific research in digital oral care.Methods:The study retrieved pertinent journal publications on digital oral care in China since the establishment of database to May 1,2023,using keywords in databases such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Data,and VIP Chinese Science and Technol-ogy Journals Database.The retrieved results were analyzed using CiteSpace,a graph-based visualization software.Results:A total of 187 relevant publications involving 316 authors and multiple research institutions were screened.Cluster analysis re-vealed that the primary research hotspots focused on digital oral care procedures,digitized impressions,digital imaging tech-niques,digital template navigation,and collaborative care.Keyword co-occurrence analysis and timeline visualization demon-strated an evolving research focus towards the application of digital templates,computer navigation,surgical robots in oral sur-geries,and comparison of various care methods.Conclusion:The main research areas in digital oral care are centered around digital templates,computer navigation,the application of surgical robots,and comparisons of diverse care methods.It is essen-tial to strengthen collaborative efforts among institutions to further advance research in digital oral care.
