Application of platelet-rich fibrin scaffolds extracted from venous blood in revascularization of pulp of perma-nent teeth
Objective:To investigate the application effect of"liquid injection type platelet-rich fibrin extracted from venous blood collection"as scaffold material in patients with permanent pulp revascularization. Methods:A total of 62 pa-tients with permanent dental pulp revascularization admitted to the First Department of Endodontics of Urumqi Stomatological Hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the subjects, and were randomly divided into two groups with 31 cases in each group by envelope random method. The control group used liquid injectable platelet rich fibrin extracted from"apical blood transfusion"as the scaffold, and the observation group used"liquid injectable platelet rich fibrin extracted from intrave-nous blood collection"as the scaffold. Both groups completed 12 months of follow-up.The root length, dentin wall thickness, apical pore diameter, root area, root canal area, visual analogue pain(visual analogue scale,VAS)score, treatment satisfaction and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results:After 12 months of follow-up,both groups obtained good therapeutic effect after intervention. The root length, dentin wall thickness, apical hole diameter and root area in observa-tion group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The root canal area was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the pain of both groups was alleviated and the satisfaction of treatment was improved.VAS score of observation group was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).The scores of occlusal degree, overall aesthetics, tooth color and chewing ability were higher than those of control group(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in complications be-tween the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The use of"liquid injectable platelet-rich fibrin extracted from venous blood collection"as a scaffold for permanent pulp revascularization has a good effect, can promote the increase of root canal length and root canal wall thickening, help reduce patients'pain, improve treatment satisfaction, and does not increase the incidence of complications, and is worthy of promotion and application.
