Three cases of long-segment ureteral stricture treated with laparoscopic ureteroplasty using appen-diceal patch in Honghe First People's Hospital from October 2021 to August 2022 were retrospectively analysed. All 3 patients successfully underwent the surgery, with a surgical duration of 116 to 183 minutes(average 153 mi-nutes),intraoperative blood loss of 50 to 80 mL(average 60 mL).The abdominal drainage tube was removed on the 3rd to 4th day postoperatively, and the ureteral stent was removed on the 7th day postoperatively. No severe postoperative infections or urinary leakage occurred.Ureteroscopy at 6 months postoperatively showed no anasto-motic stenosis or obstructed ureters.During the follow-up period of 9 to 24 months(average 13 months),patients revealed significant improvement in renal hydronephrosis and relief of lumbar pain symptoms.Laparoscopic uret-eroplasty using appendiceal patch for long-segment ureteral stricture is a safe and effective method with a low inci-dence of postoperative complications,a high success rate, and definite efficacy.
