Objective:To explore the experience of transurethral bladder mucosal stripping with β-knife in the treatment of superficial bladder diverticular carcinoma. Methods:A total of 8 patients with superficial bladder di-verticular cancer were treated by β-knife in Chinese PLA General Hospital from May 2021 to June 2023.Operative time, intraoperative blood loss, perforation of diverticulum, indwelling catheterization time and postoperative re-currence were observed. Results:The medical records of 8 patients were collected, and all of whom were success-fully treated by β-knife mucosal exfoliation. The operation time was(34±9)min,and intraoperative bleeding was(10±6)mL.No bladder perforation occurred.Postoperative irrigation was(8±4)h,and urinary catheter in-dwelling time was(2±1)day.The follow-up time was(20±6)months,and 1 case had ectopic recurrence.Con-clusion:The treatment of superficial bladder diverticular carcinoma by transurethral stripping with β-knife is safe and effective. It can avoid bladder perforation and major surgical trauma and reduce surgery-related risks and peri-operative complications so as to improve the quality of life of patients, prevent the recurrence of bladder tumor to a certain extent and prolong the life of patients. This provides an opportunity for bladder preservation in some pa-tients with diverticular cancer of the bladder.
