Recent advances in nanomedicine for benign urinary system diseases
Nanomedicine,as an emerging therapeutic approach, not only offers new perspectives for the diag-nosis and treatment of genitourinary tumors but also demonstrates increasing potential in the treatment of benign urological conditions. Its advantages lie in enhancing drug delivery capabilities while directly targeting diseased tis-sues to avoid systemic toxicity. However, current nanomedicines still face challenges such as stability,drug-load-ing capacity, and toxicity, which require further optimization. This review discusses the characteristics of benign urological diseases, clinical applications of nanotherapy, and emphasizes recent advances in both basic and clinical research, aiming to guide future research directions.
