Application and influence of intravascular ultrasound in the treatment of complex coronary artery disease
Objective The application of intravascular ultrasound in the treatment of complex coronary artery lesions during coronary intervention surgery and its impact on related indicators. Methods One hundred patients with left main coronary artery disease admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the subjects of this study. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with an average of 50 cases per group. The control group underwent coronary angiography, while the observation group underwent intravascular ultrasound imaging.Measure the relevant indicators of coronary intervention therapy and the results of left main artery disease, compare the two types of left main artery disease, calculate the incidence of adverse cardiac events such as myocardial infarction, revascularization, poor adhesion, thrombosis, and death, and analyze the diagnostic efficacy of the two in coronary artery disease. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had higher post dilation times, stent diameter, and stent length, while the post dilation balloon diameter and post dilation balloon pressure were lower(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the observation group had higher average reference diameter, minimum lumen diameter, and minimum lumen area in the non-bifurcation of the left main trunk(P<0.05),while there was no difference in diameter stenosis rate, area stenosis rate, and lesion length(P>0.05).The average reference diameter, minimum lumen diameter, and minimum lumen area in the distal bifurcation of the left main trunk increased, while the lesion length decreased(P<0.05).There was no difference in area stenosis rate(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse cardiac events in the control group was 30.00%,while the incidence of adverse cardiac events in the observation group was 10.00%(P<0.05).Conclusions Intravascular ultrasonography has good diagnostic efficacy and high clinical value in the treatment of coronary artery disease.
