[Objective]The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of esomeprazole combined with trifluthixene/melittrix versus esomeprazole alone in the treatment of erosive gastritis with negative emotions.[Methods]The totals of 140 erosive gastritis patients with negative emotions were included in this study. The control group received esomeprazole in 70 cases, and the observation group received esome-prazole plus trifluthixol/melitracen in 70 cases. The course of treatment was 4 weeks.Clinical symptoms, gastric mucosal erosion, prostaglandin E2(PGE2)and malondialdehyde levels, anxiety, depression and recur-rence were observed before and after treatment.[Results]After treatment, the clinical symptoms, mucosal erosion,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)scores of the observa-tion group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05),PGE2 was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and malondialdehyde(MDA)was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).At 6 months follow-up period(100%follow-up rate),16 patients(22.9%)and 34 patients(48.6%)in the obser-vation group and control group relapsed,respectively(P<0.05).[Conclusion]Esomeprazole combined with trifluthixene/Melitripacin can improve the clinical symptoms and mucosal erosion, relieve the negative mood in erosive gastritis patients, and reduce the recurrence rate.
