Research progress on influencing factors of medication adherence in organ transplant recipients
Post-operative organ transplant recipients need to take a variety of medications for life,mainly immunosup-pressants.However,poor medication adherence is a common problem among transplant recipients at home and abroad,which seriously affects the quality of life of recipients and even leads to death.Medication adherence in transplant recipients is affected by a variety of factors,including general demographic factors,treatment-related factors,psychosocial factors,and health service-related factors.This article reviews the current status of medication adherence in organ transplant recipients and its influencing factors,aiming to provide reference for clinical staff to take intervention measures and improve medication ad-herence in transplant recipients.
