Effect of modified focal excision combined with Mirena on adenomyosis
Objective To analyze the effect of modified surgery(transverse H-shaped incision at uterine body lesions)combined with Mirena on adenomyosis. Methods Sixty patients with adenomyosis admitted to Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Kaifeng from May 2020 to May 2023 were divided into control group and study group, with 30 cases in each group by random number table method. The control group was given modified surgery, and the study group was given modified surgery plus Mirena. The clinical effect, recurrence rate 1 year after operation, clinical indicators and menstruation were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the study group was 96.67%(29/30),which was significantly higher than that(76.67%,23/30)of the control group(P<0.05).The 1-year recurrence rate of the study group(3.33%,1/30)was lower than that of the control group(20.00%,6/30,P<0.05).The study group was better than the control group in improving clinical relevant indicators(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the study group achieved better results in improving the conditions related to menstruation(P<0.05).Conclusions In the treatment of adenomyosis, the combination of modified surgery and Mirena can significantly enhance the therapeutic effect and reduce the postoperative recurrence rate.
