Effect of endoscopic hemostasis with harmonic clip combined with Omeprazole on patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding
Objective To analyze the effect of endoscopic hemostasis with harmonic clip combined with Omeprazole on patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding.Methods A Prospective cohort study was conducted.The 86 patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding who were to be treated under endoscopy in the People's Hospital of Hebi from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with endoscopic titanium clip hemostasis combined with Omeprazole,and the observation group was treated with endoscopic harmonic clip hemostasis combined with Omeprazole.The clinical efficacy,symptom relief(time to hemostasis,time to disappearance of black stool,time to disappearance of hematemesis),blood indicators(hemoglobin,platelet count)and coagulation function indexes[prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)and fibrinogen(FIB)]were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group(95.35％,41/43)was higher than that of the control group(79.07％,34/43),with significant differences(P＜0.05).The observation group had shorter hemostasis time,disappearance time of black stool,and disappearance time of vomiting compared to the control group,with significant differences(P＜0.05).On the 7th day after surgery,both groups had elevated hemoglobin and platelet counts,and the observation group had higher hemoglobin and platelet counts than the control group,with significant differences(P＜0.05).On the 7th day after surgery,the PT and APTT levels decreased and FIB levels increased in both groups,while the observation group had lower PT and APTT levels and higher FIB levels than the control group,with significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusions Endoscopic hemostasis with harmonic clip combined with Omeprazole is effective on uipper gastrointestinal bleeding,which can alleviate clinical symptoms and improve hemostasis.
