Objective To summarize the characteristic of Chinese traditional medicine fingerprint identification methods of total.Methods To plant chemical become kind of Chinese medicine, turmeric is specific indicators, using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) chemical fingerprint technology to the effective identification of characteristic chemical composition.Results Turmeric oil in 27 kinds of characteristic components occupy a larger peak area, and relative content are also account for 88.8%~ 94.9% of total volatile oil, and the retention time and peak area together formed its characteristic fingerprint.Conclusion Adopting corresponding measures for the characteristic components for identification of Chinese medicinal materials, to form its characteristic fingerprint, for effective identification of true and false provides a strong basis for traditional Chinese medicine.
