Study the content and antioxidant capacity of total lfavonoids from Chrysanthemum morifolium.Ramat Leaves
Objective To determine the content and antioxidant capacity of total flavonoids from Chrysanthemum morifolium leaves. Methods UV spectrophotometric determination of total flavonoids content by rutin as control.Study on the antioxidant activity through using ABTS-+,DPPH·,O2-·OH system, and compared with BHT. Results The content of total lfavonoids in leaves of Chrysanthemum morifolium was 8.99mg/mL.The antioxidant activity of total lfavonoids was positively correlated with the concentration of total lfavonoids, but was weaker than BHT. Conclusion This study provides a theoretical basis for the biological activities and functional food development of total lfavonoids in leaves of Chrysanthemum morifolium.Provides scientiifc basis for further research.
