Research progress of gastrointestinal collision tumor
Objective Collision tumor is a rare clinical tumor consisting of two or more tumors of different histological origins, commonly found in lung, gastroesophageal junction, liver, rectum, bladder and uterus.Although these tumors developed next to each other and coexisted, there was no mixing between them.Gastrointestinal collision tumors are collision tumors that arise in the gastrointestinal tract and are usually found randomly during pathological evaluation of surgically resected specimens. There are relatively few case reports on gastrointestinal collision tumors, and there is no relevant systematic review in China. We screened relevant case reports in the past 20 years, and systematically summarized the common clinical features, pathological types, diagnosis and treatment, and pathogenesis of gastrointestinal collision tumors, aiming to better understand the biological behavior of gastrointestinal collision tumors to improve curative effect of patients.
