Expression and clinical significance of TRPML1 and TRPML2 in hepatocellular carcinoma tissue
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of TRPML1 and TRPML2 in hepatocellular cancer. Methods Ninety patients with primary hepatocellular cancer admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to October 2020 were selected, and liver cancer tissue and para-cancer tissue samples were collected. The expression of TRPML1 and TRPML2 was detected by immunohistochemical staining, and the relationship between TRPML1 and TRPML2 expression and clinicopathological features and prognosis was analyzed.Multivariate Cox proportional regression model was used to analyze the prognostic factors of liver cancer. Results The positive rate of TRPML1 in liver cancer tissues was 71.1%(64/90),significantly higher than that in para-cancer tissues(30.0%,27/90).The positive rate of TRPML2 was 65.6%(59/90),which was significantly higher than 32.2%(29/90)in para-cancerous tissues. The expressions of TRPML1 and TRPML2 were correlated with the degree of differentiation,TNM stage and infiltration depth(P<0.05).Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that the median OS of patients with positive expression of TRPML1 and TRPML2 was significantly lower than those with negative expression(P<0.05).Cox regression analysis showed that the positive expression of TRPML1 and TRPML2 could be used as independent factors to judge the poor prognosis of patients with HCC(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of TRPML1 and TRPML2 in liver cancer tissues is significantly increased, and the positive expression of TRPML1 and TRPML2 can be used as independent factors to evaluate the poor prognosis of patients with hepatocellular cancer.
