Construction of prognostic prediction model for non-small cell lung cancer patients based on sB7-H4 and IFN-γ
Objective To establish a prognostic model for non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients based on the expression of soluble B7-H4(sB7-H4),interferon γ(IFN-γ)and other serum markers. Methods A total of 210 patients with NSCLC who underwent surgical treatment from May 2019 to May 2021 were collected as study subjects, and followed up until June 30,2023.The patients were divided into good prognosis group and poor prognosis group according to their prognosis. The difference of clinicopathological features between the two groups was compared, and the level of serological markers was detected by enzyme-related immunosorbent assay.Multivariate Logistic regression analyzed the factors affecting the prognosis of NSCLC patients.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves evaluated the efficacy of screening factors in predicting outcomes. Results The differences in age, stage and lymph node metastasis between poor prognosis group(n=35)and good prognosis group(n=175)were significant(P<0.05).Serum levels of sB7-H4,IFN-α,IFN-γ,TNF-α,CEA and CYFRA21-1 in the poor prognosis group were significantly higher than those in the good prognosis group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that sB7-H4,IFN-γ and CYFRA21-1 were independent factors affecting the prognosis of NSCLC patients(P<0.05).ROC curve results showed that sB7-H4,IFN-γ and CYFRA21-1 all had high predictive efficacy for poor prognosis in NSCLC patients, and the combined application had the highest predictive efficacy(AUC=0.839,P<0.05).Conclusion Serum sB7-H4,IFN-γ and CYFRA21-1 levels are all factors that predict prognosis of patients with NSCLC,and the prognostic prediction model based on the above markers has certain clinical value in guiding the treatment and prognosis assessment of patients with NSCLC.
