转录激活因子3(ATF3)是一种重要的转录激活因子,它可以通过其他细胞因子、紫外线辐射、遗传毒性因子、生理应激以及介导多条信号通路来调控肿瘤细胞的增殖、凋亡、转移和侵袭等生物学行为,从而在众多恶性肿瘤的发生发展中发挥重要作用.近年来,ATF3在胃癌、乳腺癌、宫颈癌等多种癌症中已经被证实发挥抑癌作用,但是在少数其他肿瘤与组织类型中发挥促进癌症进展的作用.本文现对ATF3与癌症相关性的研究进展进行综述,旨在为癌症的临床个体化治疗提供理论依据和新的途径.
Study of the role of activating transcription factor 3 in cancer progression
The activating transcription factor 3(ATF3)is a crucial transcriptional activator.It can regulate the biological behaviors of tumor cells such as proliferation,apoptosis,metastasis and invasion through other cytokines,ultraviolet radiation,genotoxicity factors,physiological stress,and mediation of multiple signaling pathways,thus playing an important role in the development of many malignant tumors.In recent years,ATF3 has been proved to play an oncogenic role in many cancers,such as gastric cancer,breast cancer and cervical cancer,but promotes cancer progression in a few other tumor and tissue types.This article provides a comprehensive review of the research progress on the relevance of ATF3 to cancer,aiming to offer theoretical foundations and novel avenues for the clinical personalized treatment of cancer.
