Water Conservancy Engineering Economics is a professional course that involves analyzing and evaluating the inputs and benefits of water conservancy projects from an economic point of view and selecting the optimal con-struction scheme.Under the background of the new engineering,a diversified teaching model for Water Conservancy Engineering Economics was formulated in response to the problems existing in the traditional teaching model of Wa-ter Conservancy Engineering Economics and according to the characteristics of the course and its curriculum orienta-tion in water conservancy specialties of agricultural colleges.Through carrying out a diversified teaching model,students'learning initiative was mobilized;meanwhile,the student-oriented approach,combined with CAI courseware application,heuristic and case study etc.,students'learning interest was stimulated,which not only improved their understanding of Water Conservancy Engineering Economics knowledge and its application ability but also enhanced the teaching effect of the course.
