This paper analyzes the problems in the practice teaching mode of Grassland Entomology,the core course of undergraduate major of pratacultural science in Gansu Agricultural University.The paper proposes that we should optimize the experiment content to mobilize fully the students independent exploration ability,explore and carry out the design and comprehensive experiment of grassland entomology based on the teaching practice content of relevant courses to improve the comprehensive ability of students.Meanwhile,based on the production practice,it's necessary to encourage students to participate in scientific research projects and form a multiple linkage prac-tice mode,and enhance students'innovative thinking and comprehensive ability,and strengthen the ideological and political elements in teaching design to cultivate new agricultural professionals with strong comprehensive practi-cal ability.
