Using literature review and logical analysis methods,this study explores the value,opportunities,diffi-culties,and strategies for the high-quality development of Xinjiang's desert sports industry.The dilemma of high-quality development of Xinjiang's desert sports industry in the new era is manifested in the need to enhance the cross integration of the desert industry,the lack of scientific regulatory mechanisms for the development of the des-ert sports industry,the need to strengthen the infrastructure and supporting facilities of desert scenic spots,and the lack of high-yield talent cultivation in the desert sports industry.The development strategies are to enhance the comprehensive effect of"desert +",to strengthen industrial integration of resources,to expand diversified customer markets and innovate marketing models,to improve the infrastructure of scenic spots and construct a public service system that benefits the people,to strengthen government funding support and improve the talent guarantee system,and to practice low-carbon green tourism and maintain the ecological red line.
