Sanxuejie is a renowned historical and cultural district in Xi'an,showcasing the spatial and social structural changes over time and space.This paper,based on the perspective of historical geography,delves into the spatial evolution and unique characteristics of Sanxuejie in Xi'an.It analyzes the changes in its status and the transformation of its social functions during different historical periods.By combining field investigations and histor-ical literature,it provides an in-depth analysis of the spatial characteristics of Sanxuejie,including its street layout,architectural styles,and sociocultural features.This paper aims to serve as a basis for the inheritance and protection of the historical and cultural heritage of Sanxuejie.
